Bread. The original comfort food.

I don’t know about you, but the February Blahs are a thing. It’s overcast, cold and dreary. The kind of days that call for comfort food. Food that fills you up and satisfies your stomach and your mind.
Bread is the original comfort food dating back thousands of years. Bread can be simply food, but it is much more. It’s a ritual, nourishing the soul and bringing people together. Bread sparks joy and comfort— especially homemade bread.
Dear Grain Commissary in downtown Hamilton makes the best bread around. All their bread is made from sourdough, which tastes incredible and is easier to digest. They have many different types of sourdough bread, from classic country loaves to super-seeded loaves to cheese loaves. This bakery is my go-to for all my bread. You won’t catch me buying bread anywhere else.
If you’re looking for something a bit sweeter, Dear Grain also makes a wide selection of sourdough pastries and cookies. I love their sourdough croissants, especially the cinnamon sugar croissant.
Next time you crave real homemade bread, check them out at 103 Vine Street Hamilton. You won’t be disappointed.
See you there…
